| The absolute winner of the 30th year of the Top Agro Slovakia competition, for the results achieved in 2024, was the company Granelam from Ostrov pri Piešťany. The results of the competition were announced by the Agricultural Journalists' Club on Wednesday in the village of Belá, also with the participation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Richard Takáč (Smer-SD). This was announced on Wednesday by a member of the Agricultural Journalists' Club committee, Malvína Gondová.
According to Gondová, the evaluation focuses on a more comprehensive assessment of the performance and managerial quality of companies using data from publicly available sources. These relate to profitability, share of equity, period of repayment of liabilities, liquidity, return on equity or Finstat score.
The company Granelam became the absolute winner for the third time, while in 2009 and 2010 it was still the Agricultural Cooperative (PD) Pokrok Ostrov. The company focuses primarily on the production of corn and dense grain seeds. In addition, it also won in the category of business companies - production areas.
The award in the category of agricultural cooperatives (disadvantaged areas) was won by Nová Bodva - a cooperative in Turnianská Nová Ves. The award for agricultural cooperatives - production areas was won by Agrocoop, the agricultural and production cooperative Hul in the Nové Zámky district. The company Janek Dolný Moštenec received an award in the category of business companies - disadvantaged areas.
The Bobrov cooperative cooperative received a special award for its achievements in animal production. The award for its achievements in plant production was won by the company Lúčnica from Lúčnica nad Žitavou. The agricultural company FirstFarms Gabčíkovo was awarded the Entrepreneurial Deed of the Year. The special award for the continuity of generations in the agricultural enterprise was won by the company Agrocontract Mikuláš.odkaz na stránku |
