| Industrial orders were down 7.9% year-on-year in October |

| The value of new orders in industry decreased by 7.9% year-on-year in October 2025 and reached a volume of 6.01 billion euros. They recorded a decrease for the sixth time since the beginning of the year. After taking into account seasonal effects, new orders in industry in October 2025 decreased by 7.5% compared to September 2025. This was reported by the Statistical Office (Ú) of the Slovak Republic.
In the tenth month of this year, the year-on-year increase was reflected in 6 out of 12 monthly monitored industrial sectors. The overall development was most significantly influenced by the year-on-year decrease in orders in the production of motor vehicles, semi-trailers and trailers (by 16.4%), the production of electrical equipment (by 8.5%) and the production of computer, electronic and optical products (by 5.7%).
Orders increased year-on-year mainly in the production and processing of metals (by 15.5%), the manufacture of machinery and equipment not elsewhere classified (by 11.6%) and the manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (by 16.9%).odkaz na stránku |
