| The price of milk in May 2026 fell by 1.9% to 36.90 euros/100 kg |

| The average purchase price of raw cow's milk in May 2026 decreased by 1.9% to 36.90 euros/100 kg. In a year-on-year comparison, the average purchase price of milk in May of this year was lower by 24.3%. This is according to the current report of the Agricultural Market Information of Slovakia (ATIS).
The price of Q. class milk in May 2026 weakened by 1.8% month-on-month. The purchase price of Q. quality class milk decreased by 24.4% year-on-year.
In May 2026, processors purchased a total of 78,306 tons of raw cow's milk from producers, which was 2.4% more than in April of this year. Q. class milk was purchased by 0.5% more month-on-month, totaling 63,620 tons.
Year-on-year, processors purchased 24.3% less raw cow's milk in May 2026. Compared to the same period in 2025, purchases of Q. class milk increased by 9%. Q. class milk had an 81.3% share in April purchases.
