Welcome to our family of brewers. Our product continues an old tradition of Slovak households-home-brewing. It enables you to make (depending on alcoholic strenght) 12-16 liters of good Trnavian yeast beer in a simple way. This kit makes production methods considerably simple. To be successful it is necessary to keep all utensils perfectly clean (almost sterilized).
Utensil for production:
- a large pot (min. 10 liters) - with a smaller pot you can brew "hopped wort " in two stages
- a vessel for fermentation 12 -16 liters (a glass cylinder is the best - or pot, bucket or plastic vessel)
- a new wooden spoon (you can not use it for other purposes)
- bottles whit good screw-on caps (they must seal very well - glass or plastic PET soft drink bottles are suitable)
Hopped wort preparation:
- Pour 10 liters of drinking - water over the contents of the package (the powder) and mix it with a wooden spoon in a clean pot.
- Boil the mixture on a very low fire for 90 minutes (stir intermittently). Keep fire low enough to prevent foaming!
- Let the hopped wort cool until the next day (so that the sediment can settle).
- In the meantime prepare a perfectly clean fermentation vessel and mark the capacity at 12, 14 and 16 liters (with a marker or a scratch).
- Pour the brewed hopped wort carefully off into the fermentation vessel (the sediment must stay at the bottom of the pot). You can use a rubber tube for this. You must not alow the deposited sediment to get into the fermentation vessel.
- If you do not hove a 10 liters pot, you can brew the hopped wort in smaller pots tool. Keep in mind - you must put the corresponding amount of powder into each pot!
